Her most well-known work is her performance in Spamalot's West End original production and the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods. Her work has earned three Olivier Award nominations. In the year 2015, she joined the team of the fifth season of Game of Thrones. HBO show Game of Thrones as Septa Unella and also appeared as an ensemble member in the film adaptation in 2012 of Les Miserables and 2018 British psychological thriller Winter Ridge in a primary role. Waddingham is nominated as an Golden Globe Award nominee.
